Advanced Correcting Serum Chosen as Finalist in Product Innovation at the Independent Cosmetic Manufactures and Distributors City Awards 2017
We have some very exciting news to share with you! This year, we entered Advanced Correcting Serum with Illuminotex into the Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers and Distributors (ICMAD) Cosmetic Innovator of the Year (CITY) Awards, and the multitasking serum was accepted as a top three finalist in the Product Innovation category.
To be selected among the greats of independent beauty brands is a huge honor that took years of research and trials to perfect a powerful serum. Over 25 beauty companies were selected in the competition for both up-and-coming and established brands that want to achieve international acclaim and industry visibility.
When Dr. Patel began designing the Advanced Correcting Serum, she had the idea to create a new lightening agent, called Illuminotex. Illuminotex would be the key ingredient in the Advanced line or Visha Skincare, a line of cosmeceutical skin care products that have bioactive ingredients that have drug-like benefits.
This skin-brightening complex addresses skin aging and hyperpigmentation resulting from UV damage, as well as dark spots from previous skin damage and scars. It encourages a brighter, more even complexion. This lightening agent is a synergistic blend of seven ingredients that target four specific pathways of melanin formation. The key ingredients include: beta white, kojic acid, niacinamide, sodium hyaluronate, licorice extract, tocopherol, and retinol.
The hydroquinone-free formula can also be used to fade dark pigmentation left from skin damage, blemishes or scars.
Not only is it hydroquinone-free, the serum is fragrance free, paraben free, and has been both formulated and tested by a board-certified dermatologist.
