Visha Skincare Power Couple: Meet Erica and Aubrey

Meet Erica and Aubrey Edwards, mother and daughter. As a medical assistant at Advanced Dermatology & Skin Cancer Associates and a mother of two with another one on the way, Erica didn’t want to put her beauty routine on hold.

With the combined powers of the Visha Skincare Bump 2 Baby Body Balm and the Mommy Brightener, she was able to use skin care products that are safe to use during pregnancy and nursing, keeping her moisturized and fading the appearance of dark spots.

What’s your title at Advanced Dermatology & Skin Cancer Associates in Memphis?

I’m a medical assistant.

How old is Aubrey?

She is 7 weeks. Almost 8!

When you heard about Aubrey coming, what was your initial reaction?

I was shocked, but happy at the same time. It’s been a while since I’ve had a little one so it was a little bit surprising. But I’m glad that she’s here.

What is different about Aubrey considering you have two other children?

Aubrey has taught me to be more patient. Definitely since my kids are older, she is a little quieter besides the crying. It’s a little easier to care for her I would say – besides the sleepless nights – but just the feeding, the sleeping, the burping, she’s pretty content. It’s not too bad at all.

How do you and Aubrey bond?

I nurse her, so I’m currently a breastfeeding mom. That’s a great part of our bonding, as well as feeding her and putting her to sleep.

How did you hear about Visha Skincare?

I heard about it from Dr. Patel. It was perfect since I was pregnant at the time. I started using more of the products, and they really helped me a lot.

What do you think about the Bump 2 Baby Body Balm?

I love it! It’s very, very moisturizing. During my pregnancy, I did experience very dry skin, maybe because of the hormones. The Bump 2 Baby is very moisturizing.

What do you think about the Mommy Brightener?

The Mommy Brightener is awesome because there’s not a lot of products you can use when you’re pregnant. A lot of products have hydroquinone, whether it’s prescription or the over the counter, which is not safe. It’s very tough. Especially me being an African-American, I get those dark spots. Being pregnant, I was glad that Dr. Patel had the Mommy Brightener to use because it’s safe during pregnancy. I can use it morning and night, and I can feel beautiful with the dark spots. Even though I was pregnant, that was something I didn’t have to put on hold.
